Description
Crispy, golden-brown hash browns made easily in the air fryer for a perfect breakfast side.
Ingredients
4 medium russet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Cooking spray
Instructions
Step 1: Peel and grate the potatoes using a box grater or food processor.
Step 2: Place grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
Step 3: In a large bowl, combine potatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well.
Step 4: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
Step 5: Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Step 6: Form potato mixture into 4 equal patties, about 1/2-inch thick.
Step 7: Place patties in air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.
Step 8: Cook for 15 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Step 9: Serve immediately while hot.
