Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
Step 2: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to a 12-inch circle.
Step 3: In a small bowl, mix olive oil and minced garlic, then brush it evenly over the dough.
Step 4: Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
Step 5: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, then top with Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Step 6: Transfer the pizza to the preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Step 7: Remove from the oven, top with torn basil leaves, let cool for 2 minutes, then slice and serve.
