Ingredients
1 cup mini pretzel twists
1 cup soft caramel candies (unwrapped)
1 tablespoon heavy cream or milk
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon coconut oil or shortening
1/4 teaspoon flaky sea salt
Instructions
Step 1: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange pretzels in single layer.
Step 2: In microwave-safe bowl, combine caramels and cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between, until smooth (about 90 seconds total).
Step 3: Spoon about 1 teaspoon caramel onto each pretzel, spreading slightly.
Step 4: In separate microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Step 5: Drizzle melted chocolate over caramel-covered pretzels.
Step 6: Immediately sprinkle with flaky sea salt before chocolate sets.
Step 7: Let sit at room temperature until set (about 30 minutes) or refrigerate for 15 minutes to speed setting.
